Prof. Perez presented his paper "Dok Do / Takeshima and the Japan and Republic of Korea Relations" which is part of the investigation currently under development, called "Dok Do / Takeshima in Context: Historical Legacy, Bilateral Issues, Regional and Territorial Disputes" granted by the UCLA Center for Korean Studies at The University Angeles California, USA and the Academy of Korean Studies in Korea.
These international seminars have been organized since 2008, and this is the second time that Prof. Perez Le-Fort participates at these events. This time, the activity had the participation of Prof. David Straub, Associate Director of Korean Studies, Stanford University, USA, among other academics and participants linked to the Korean world.
Additionally in this event, the book entitled: "Korea, An interdisciplinary vision", edited by Prof. Wonjung Min of Asian Studies Program at UC, was launched , and Prof. Pérez Le-Fort wrote the chapter entitled "The Korean Peninsula and balances regional strategy".
