Financial support to cover part of the costs of the thesis are also offered annually. Chileans can apply for support from national entities such as CONICYT and CORFO to cover tuition costs.
Foreign students can benefit from special programs offered by the Organization of American States (Regular Training Program open to citizens and residents of member countries); the Chilean International Cooperation Agency, AGCI (Latin American and Caribbean countries, among others, according to annual programs); national scholarship programs of the country of origin; Fulbright Commission, etc.
As the university has no housing facilities, all applicants must arrange for their own accommodations. The Institute, nevertheless, can provide information on this matter. It is important that foreign students obtain health insurance with a broad coverage.
